In this activity you will accompany the coordination, implementation and strategic further development of BARMER media work – with a special focus on internal communication and its cross-media orientation. You provide editorial and technical support to the BARMER employee app, create content for our social media channels and actively participate in the design of other internal media. The independent tracking and research of media-relevant topics, impulses and trends in the communication environment are also part of your tasks – always keeping your eye on the needs of our target groups. Your tasks include the preparation and address-oriented and point-to-point writing of articles and interviews. Text, picture and video material you realize independently, prepare it professionally and publish it via the appropriate channels. You agree to the media content with the relevant stakeholders, such as the Executive Board and departments.

You have a degree in communication sciences or journalism. Alternatively, you have successfully completed a volunteer at a print or online medium. Professional experience as an editor or editor – ideally focusing on digital and cross-media communication. Your pointed, target-group-oriented and fast writing characterises you, as well as your safe feeling for storytelling and modern communication formats. In addition, you have very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive). Ideally, you can experience video creation and video editing, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign) and content management systems. Team-oriented, focused and independent work in dynamic situations and always keep an overview. Excellent knowledge of German on C2 level as well as the readiness for occasional service trips complete your profile.
