Enabler for smaller, more powerful and more energy-efficient microchips

Work where the morning arises. About 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are manufactured using ZEISS technologies. As the heart of any electronically controlled system, they are no longer to think away from our everyday life – whether in smartphones, smart homes or smart factories. ZEISS is a technology leader in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems and solutions for process control, ZEISS enables the production of increasingly smaller, more powerful and more energy-efficient microchips – and thus decisively shapes the age of microelectronics and nanoelectronics with its innovations.

We offer interesting topics and projects in the strategic business development of our semiconductor division at ZEISS. In your at least 5-month internship, you can work with us on various strategic and operational solutions in close cooperation with your colleagues (m/w/x). Depending on the interests and priorities, this could include: Development of sound recommendations for different business areas and management using appropriate consulting tools

Responsibility for own work packages, for example, by analyzing challenges, trends, markets and competitors in the semiconductor market

Senior Manager (m/w/x) support the implementation of strategic programs as well as active participation in strategic projects and challenges of the ZEISS semiconductor division

Collecting, analyzing and preparing results and their communication to management

Creation of presentations for different target groups

Get to know, customize and apply tools from the strategy consulting environment

Mentoring by experienced colleagues (m/w/x) and former business consultants (ex-MBB) (m/w/x), take responsibility and get to know Semiconductor Manufacturing Technologies better

Senior Consultant (m/w/x)

completed bachelor's degree or soon completion

pronounced analytical skills and outcome orientation

detailed, structured and independent working methods

very good knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, as well as other data processing tools

strong communication and team capability

knowledge of German and English

first experience in business strategy, consulting, project management and/or communication/media e.g. from previous internships in a strategy department or top management consultancy
