Do you not only want to optimize production processes, but to actively shape the industrial development of a production site? As Head of Industrial Engineering, you and your team are responsible for the further development of our manufacturing and assembly processes. In doing so, you connect Lean Management, Industrial Engineering and new manufacturing technologies with a clear focus on efficiency, economy and sustainability. You conduct and develop industrial engineering professionally and disciplinaryly and are responsible for the continuous development of structures, processes and standards. You control efficiency and optimization programs in our production areas and develop cost-optimal value creation processes based on lean and MTM methods. You are responsible for projects to introduce new manufacturing technologies, plants, equipment and devices, from project planning to successful implementation. You take over the investment planning for the operating sector, tax the associated budget and thus provide the basis for the technological development of production. You accompany series launches of new product series and work closely with adjacent functions to ensure production-oriented product design and stable series operation. You are responsible for work preparation as well as project and process management, drive lean, CVP and 5S initiatives forward and secure efficient local IT processes and capacities together with the central IT.

You have successfully completed a technical or comparable university degree and have many years of relevant professional experience in industrial engineering or Production environment. You bring several years of experience in a manufacturing company, ideally with well-founded knowledge in vehicle assembly and production. You have professional and disciplinary leadership experience and understand how to develop employees, transfer responsibility and advance changes. You have well-founded knowledge of lean management, continuous improvement and MTM methodology and have already used it in a production environment. You bring experience in the planning and implementation of production processes, manufacturing technologies and investment projects as well as a strong understanding of economic relationships. You communicate safely across different functions and hierarchical levels and have fluent knowledge of German and English
