Senior Database Developer for Oracle (m/f/d)

As part of our team of Oracle's database developers and administrators, you develop and support database components and showcase yourself creatively in the design of data models for new functionalities – also in cooperation with colleagues from other Java development teams. Your job as an experienced Oracle database developer is to support other developer teams in SQL optimization and technical issues or issues related to Oracle RDBMS. In addition, you are in communication and help our customers install and maintain their databases. This includes the analysis of performance problems and their elimination. In addition, you have fun in new technologies and do not lose sight of your goal even in difficulty, but consider the analysis and elimination of complex technical problems as a personal challenge. Your integration is supported by experienced and helpful colleagues. During this phase, you will learn the software and our development tools to solve your own tasks independently. Of course, you have the opportunity to participate in training and internal lecture series to get to know innovations, to deepen techniques or to look at the edge of the plate.

Complete technical or scientific studies (informatics, mathematics, physics, or comparable study programme) or corresponding professional experience in the labour market Very good PL/SQL and SQL skills Practical experience in the administration of databases Finded knowledge of the command line (e.g. Shell scripts, SQL prompt, Linux tools) Basic knowledge of Java programming and XML are advantageous Experiences with interdisciplinary, cross-functional teams Designed analytical, conceptual and creative skills with a high and solution-oriented approach Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
