You identify and evaluate potential suppliers for complex welding assemblies with regard to their development potential and are significantly involved in the selection of suppliers You create concepts and implementation plans for the construction of welding production lines at our suppliers You determine and communicate the technical and normative requirements required for the production of welding assemblies within the scope of the know-how transfer to the selected suppliers You identify and coordinate the necessary support volumes of other departments within the scope of the entire know-how transfer and control the necessary information exchange with the selected suppliers. You take over the welding consulting and support of suppliers from the production start to the successful start of series production If necessary, You support quality management in initial sample testing, supplier audits and acceptances, as well as in the case of necessary measures for welding approvals and qualifications You are available to other specialist areas of KNDS regarding welding technology issues within the scope of supplier management

You have a successfully completed mechanical engineering study or a comparable degree as well as additional qualification for the welding specialist IIW1170 An additional plus is your additional training to the EWF3309/EWF662 adhesive engineer or the willingness to acquire it ZfP qualification, in particular in method VT, is desirable You have comprehensive and secure knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes (thermal cutting, welding, milling, etc.) and materials (high-strength steels, aluminum alloys) Knowledge of 3D CAD and standard software English language skills and ideally French knowledge combine with the readiness to regularly travel abroad Own initiative, an independent and responsible way of working, as well as a safe occurrence towards national and international partners round off your profile
