Responsibility for the Group-wide strategy in the field of customs and external economic processes and their continuous optimization Definition and implementation of statutory requirements for the handling of all customs and foreign trade processes and ensuring the proper production of export documents throughout the Group Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal provisions (customer, preferential and external economic law) including implementation of group-wide audits according to legal standards Implementation of embargo tests and monitoring of external economic compliance Analysis of legal requirements and identification of competitive advantages through international free trade agreements Ensure compliance with customs requirements to ensure an efficient and legally compliant import and export process in operational areas Take over responsibility as a Process Area Owner and for the administration of the GTS system, in particular with regard to relevant legal areas in the global material flow Current analysis of global developments in the field of foreign trade (e.g. penal duties, geopolitical changes, Brexit) and deriving appropriate measures Creation, maintenance and continuous updating of work, organisational and procedural instructions and guidelines Conducting Compliance Risk Analysis in Customs and External Economics Advice and support of international corporations in all customs and external matters, including training and training documents Processing and coordination of application procedures with approval authorities, in particular with regard to authorisations and collective export authorisations

Successful degree in economics, business management, law, economic law or comparable qualifications Extensive job-relevant practical experience Continuous training in customs and foreign trade law (including CBAM) Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP Comfortable, convincing personality Business thinking and acting Own initiative and readiness to perform Extensive leadership experience Very good English skills in word and writing readiness to travel
