Planning, implementation and optimization of production processes for viral vectors as well as establishment and scale-up up to the average development scale (0.1–25 L). Graduate in Life Sciences (e.g. Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology or related disciplines) or a comparable scientific qualification with relevant professional experience in process development or viral production) Found experience in managing a process development team at the interface between virological research and production. Experience in the development, selection and establishment of suitable manufacturing processes, in the planning and implementation of customer projects (including work with RG2 viruses) and in the production of scientific development reports and the participation of patent applications. Experience in late phases of clinical and commercial processes. Deep understanding of viral processes as well as a safe, auditory approach to viruses in the laboratory, including precise documentation and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
