Team Leader Central Workshop Vehicles (m/w/d)

We are looking for the fire director of the state capital of Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay. The fire director is at the side of the public in all emergency situations so that fire and disaster protection can be ensured in Stuttgart 24 hours. The Central Workshop Vehicles is responsible for the technical readiness and safety of the operational vehicles of the Fire Directorate. The fleet of the fire department Stuttgart comprises around 220, mostly technically very complex vehicles, from fully electric small car to 70 tons mobile crane.

You have the team management of the Central Workshop vehicles with 14 employees with service and specialist supervision and are responsible for the maintenance of the entire fleet of vehicles as well as all means of use with internal combustion engines They act in the design, realization and commissioning of new fire-fighting vehicles and in the ongoing development of existing vehicles with They coordinate and monitor the statutory audits such as HU, AU, SP and UVV, as well as prepared decisions on maintenance and maintenance-relevant policy issues and matters They actively participate in all work protection, quality, household and process measures of the Central Workshop vehicles and implement them They examine and conclude contracts for special maintenance measures and special deliveries and spare parts They are responsible, among other things, for the technical accident damage processing, the vehicle and installation-side information and instruction of the vehicle managers of the fire department Stuttgart, the training of motor vehicle mechatronics technicians and the amtsintern vehicle and goods flows A change or addition of the task area is reserved.
