Contract Management Officer (m/f/d)

Anybody can read contracts. You understand. You also keep an overview of a variety of different types of contract and recognize what it really matters. What is only paper for others is for you economic decisions with far-reaching effects. You recognize risks before You arise and cover weaknesses before You become expensive. You know when a renegotiation is worthwhile and when an apparently inconspicuous clause can decide on six-digit amounts. At the same time, you will be prudent and strengthen existing partnerships, develop relationships sustainably and ensure a reliable, trusting collaboration at eye level. We are looking for someone who thinks contracts strategically, protects our company, recognizes opportunities, builds strong partnerships and actively contributes to business success with its economic sense. You are the central representative for contract management at Die Lohners. You examine contracts before conclusion, extension or adaptation to legal and economic risks and develop practical improvements You enter into our entire contract portfolio – from commercial lease contracts for our specialist business, leasing, insurance, energy, maintenance and IT contracts to agreements with external service providers and partners. You always keep in mind terms of durations, notice periods, contract options and relevant obligations. You take care of the operational handling of insurance damages and insurance cases, coordinate the necessary steps and ensure smooth processing. You monitor and process contractual processes – from rental bills to the management and testing of renting costs, votes with landlords and car rental topics around our locations. You manage guarantees and other contractually relevant securities, keep time limits and obligations in mind and ensure a structured documentation. You provide and manage contract and master data in our system com.TRADENET and make sure that all relevant information is documented up to date, complete and comprehensible. Together with the management, you prepare contract negotiations, evaluate requests for change and coordinate cooperation with external firms if necessary. With your legal understanding and your economic view, you can identify risks, identify savings potentials and make sure that our contracts are legally secure, economically and forward-looking.

Contracts are more than legal texts for you – you recognize the economic opportunities and risks between the lines. You have already gained professional experience in contract management, in a legal department or a comparable position and bring a secure sense of auditing and evaluating contracts. You have completed an apprenticeship as a lawyer and ideally completed a further training as a legal specialist. Alternatively, you bring a comparable qualification. Your legal understanding, your practical experience in contract processing and your economic view are crucial to us. Ideally, you already have experience in dealing with com.TRADENET or comparable contract management systems and work safely with digital administration processes. You work structured, keep time limits and contract details in a reliable look and address complex issues with a solution-oriented and entrepreneurial view. You communicate clearly, think pragmatically and claim to make contracts not only legally clean, but also economically sensible. External lawyers are added when special knowledge is required – but most of the contract work is solved independently and with the necessary sovereignty.
