Application Technician Model Workshop Steel Systems (m/f/d)

The practical application engineer is the first contact person for the practical application of the Jansen steel profile systems. It supports metal builders, sales partners, as well as its own distribution structure in the professional processing of the systems, performs training and accompanies projects from the workshop to the construction site even if there are complaints. You carry out practical training and assignments to steel profile systems and provide processing, manufacturing and assembly guidelines. As a technical contact, you support metal builders, processors and sales partners in demanding issues and complex constructions. From planning to completion, you will accompany construction projects and assist with your specialist knowledge during construction site visits. Attributes you analyze on site, develop solutions together with customers and internal specialist areas and accompany their implementation. The technical support of sales in customer appointments, project presentations and product launches is also part of your responsibility. Test and test elements as well as sales and demonstration patterns are planned, manufactured and developed by you. You actively participate in trade fairs, trainings, customer events and product presentations and attend corresponding exhibits. Machine demonstrations, the optimization of manufacturing processes and the transfer of customer and market feedback to product management, technology and sales complete your task profile.

A completed training in metal construction or a comparable qualification forms your basis, ideally supplemented by a further training to the metal designer, technician, designer or engineer (m/w/d). Multiannual practical work experience in metal construction already brings you. Finding knowledge in the field of steel profile systems, ideally with Jansen systems, will distinguish you. Experience with doors, windows, facades as well as fire protection and smoke protection constructions is of advantage. The safe handling of technical drawings, production documents as well as relevant standards, guidelines and approvals is part of your craftsmanship. High practical competence, a pronounced hands-on mentality as well as an independent and solution-oriented way of working out. Communication strength, presentation skills and joy in communicating knowledge in a comprehensible manner complete your profile. You are ready to travel throughout Germany (approx. 60-80 %), also for multi-day operations, and has a class B licence.
