Project Manager Freight Forwarding / Truck Transports (m/f/d)

Planning and implementation of transport concepts for truck transport in local and remote transport Control of national and international transport projects (complete cargo, cross-border transport) Ensuring a structured and timely project start (Go-Live) in the area of road transport Active support of go-live and rollout phases in new customer projects in transport logistics Monitoring of operational transport processes during implementation including Introduction of emergency measures for derogations Development of efficient solutions for capacity utilization of truck traffic and tour planning Conducting customer agreements (release calls) to clarify logistical, technical and organizational requirements Creation and control of project plans, time axes and milestones for transport implementations Close cooperation with MRP, fleet and sales Ensuring the availability of all necessary resources (e.g. loading space, driver, equipment) for project start Integration of new transport and distribution processes into existing freight structures Implementation of post-calculations, freight evaluations and KPI reporting (e.g. cost, utilisation, service level) Analysis of transport processes and derivation of optimization measures in the sense of Business Excellence Documentation of projects and creation of standardized reports and Lessons Learned

Complete training in the field of forwarding, logistics or transport management Multiannual professional experience in the mentioned area with operational focus on disposition, transport planning or control of truck traffic is assumed Knowledge of the planning and handling of road transport Experience in project management, ideally in the logistics industry Safe handling of common transport management systems (TMS) and ERP systems Embossed communication skills and experience in coordinating project teams Solution-oriented thinking and high process affinity Very good German knowledge in word and writing, English knowledge of advantage
