Senior Cloud Network Architect - SDN / Automation (m/f/d)

You guide the network architecture for the public cloud environment of our company and ensure compliance with the overarching hosting infrastructure strategy You work with Product Owners, DevOps teams, SDN developers:inside, cross-platform and network engineering teams to define technical and product-related solutions that are feasible, scalable and architecturally compliant You introduce technical inputs into product and technology roadmaps and anticipate future business and technical requirements You research, evaluate, design and deploy new network technologies (SDN, Virtual Networking, Automation, Security Frameworks) You advise stakeholders and enterprise customers by translateing high business requirements into specific technical tasks You create high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD) as well as detailed architectural documentation

You have 10+ years of experience in network architecture and design, including public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) You have a deep understanding of data center finance architectures and the implementation of network services as well as VNFs about it You have expertise in SDN, NFV, routing, switching, firewalling and hybrid networking You have proven experience in managing complex network projects as an architect:in and technical:r Leader You can design secure, scalable and resilient networks for public cloud environments You have solid experience with virtualized environments (KVM, Open vSwitch, Linux Bridges) and are familiar with automation and DevOps practices for networking (Netbox, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD) You have a strong background in Linux systems, including Python, nftables, iptables, Git You have strong documentation and architectural skills (HLD, LLD, diagrams) You have excellent communication skills and can translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for different stakeholders You show high resilience and adaptability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
