The SOS Children's Village Augsburg is a youth aid facility with outpatient, stationary and open offers for children and young people and their families at several locations in Augsburg. For our SOS Children's Village in Augsburg we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, part-time (30 hours/day) As a stationary form of care, the youth community is aimed at young people aged 14 to 18. Supported by our team of social educators and educators, young people are gradually learning to stand on their own feet until You can master their lives themselves. You serve young people in the youth group and create a safe, stable environment for their development. You take care of young people, promote them individually, support their emotional stabilisation and accompany them in everyday life. Together with the specialist service, you agree with parents and external professionals to optimally coordinate educational measures. You design varied leisure and group activities that promote community sense and individual skills alike. You provide support for school challenges to achieve learning goals and promote personal development. You accompany young people in conflict situations and support them in developing appropriate behaviour strategies. You promote the emotional development and social skills of young people. You pay attention to the conscientious implementation of child protection and care protection.

You have a completed study of social work or a completed training as an educator. You design proximity and distance professional and standard.
