This makes this job interesting to me: I’m configuring the energy transition by ensuring the availability of precise geodata for the network deployment as a GIS engineerin / geodata managerin (m/w/d). I take responsibility for the further development of the GIS landscape and the integration of new data sources. So I actively contribute to optimizing the network infrastructure of tomorrow and promoting a sustainable energy future. My tasks: Geodata management: Ensuring the availability and quality of geodata for network information, data integration: connection of data sources (geodatabase, asset management system) to the WebGIS, GIS further development: Optimization of the 50Hertz GIS landscape in cooperation with IT, Data acquisition & updating: integration of official geodata (e.g. national survey, map services of the Federal Office for Cartography), Geodata processing: processing, transformation and provision of geodata with QGIS/ArcGIS Pro for internal and external stakeholders.

completed studies in geoinformatics, geography (Bachelor/ Master/ Diploma) or comparable qualification, knowledge of NIS/GIS and geodatabase systems, Secure handling of MS Office programs and database application software, Very good German knowledge (C1) and good English knowledge (B2) in word and writing, Readiness to travel for occasional missions to congresses and professional exchanges in our regional centres.
