At Hearst Networks Germany, the finance team ensures reliable structures and financial transparency that secure our business in a dynamic media environment. As an Accounting Manager, you are responsible for the accounting of the German location and, with your know-how, provide reliable figures, efficient processes and professional cooperation with internal and external partners: inside. You work closely with colleagues in Germany and the UK and actively shape processes and continuously develop them.

Accounting and Finance Operations Responsibility for the entire ongoing accounting daily business, including creditor, debitor and asset accounting Complete payment transactions, including booking, monitoring of open items and dunning Preparation and preparation of the monthly and annual accounts according to HGB and US-GAAP Responsibility for tax and statistical reporting, including sales tax forecasts and cooperation with tax advisors:inside Creation and processing of applications and notifications according to § 50a EStG Reporting and Cooperation Participation in creating internal and external reporting (e.g. GEMA, GVL, KSK) Central contact person for accounting topics – internally and externally (tax advisors:inside, auditors:inside, authorities) Close cooperation with financial management and international finance teams to ensure transparent and coordinated processes Processes & Development Active participation and optimization of accounting and finance processes Participation in a modern, solution-oriented finance culture in a changing market environment

Successfully completed training as an accounting officer:in, tax specialist:r or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in an international environment A structured, careful operation with high quality standards and attention to detail Teamability, self-initiative, sense of responsibility and joy in driving topics independently Proactive, solution-oriented thinking and interest in continuous process improvement Knowledge of SAP, Concur or Oracle are beneficial Very good MS Office knowledge, especially Excel Very good knowledge of English for cooperation with international teams
