Our client, the clinics of the county Lörrach GmbH, ensures medical care in the south of Baden-Württemberg in municipal support. At present three locations, more than 24,700 stationary and around 60,000 outpatient patients are supplied annually. The district hospital Lörrach is an academic teaching hospital at the University of Freiburg. With around 2,200 employees, the clinic network is in an exciting development phase: In 2027 a modern new building with around 650 plan beds in Lörrach will be purchased, which opens up new structural and medical possibilities. Senior Consultant (m/w/d) is responsible for the technical and organizational aspects of gastroenterology and work closely with the head physician as well as the clinic manager. You act as a permanent representative of the chief physician and take over the leadership of the department in his absence. You independently carry out a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy – with particular emphasis on complex interventional procedures. You are sure to control the implementation of ERCPs and endosonographic studies (EUS) including interventional interventions and develop them further. You are actively involved in the introduction and establishment of new diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You have a significant impact on the strategic and structural further development of the department – in particular with regard to the new construction of the central hospital. You are involved in the guidance and training of young doctors.

You are a specialist (m/w/d) for internal medicine with a focus on gastroenterology. (m/w/d) in der Gastroenterologie. You have a proven expertise in interventional endoscopy. You control ERCP and endosonography including interventional techniques safely and routined. You have great interest in innovative diagnostic and therapeutic methods and their further development. You are characterized by leadership, sense of responsibility and a pronounced team and communication skills.

You have a creative influence on the further development of gastroenterology and can actively shape the medical structure in the new 3-country clinic from 2027 onwards.
