Our IT specialist supervises the software for managing the insured accounts, establishing pensions and providing services for rehabilitation in the DRV Bund. Our team supports the technical platform of our software based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the specific development tools used. We develop the platform and the tools and ensure a general increase in the degree of automation. We coordinate operating system and software updates and are contact persons for the development and operating teams.

Work in setting up new servers and software updates for tools and development tools Implementation of capacity management measures, backup, monitoring and archiving Create, wait and maintain automation scripts Working in the 3rd level Support of the Platform Working in in-house projects of the DRV Bund and on documentation tasks

Completed higher education (Bachelor or Diplom FH) in the IT sector or comparable qualification (for example IT-specific qualification) or completed vocational training in the IT area or comparable multiannual practical experience in the IT sector Multiannual job-relevant professional experience in IT Knowledge and practical experience with the administration of the Linux operating system in productive environments Practical experience with complex development, release and operating environments Knowledge and current experiences with the programming language Python as well as the Linux Shell programming (Bash) Experience with automation and configuration tools (e.g. Ansible), with automated documentation (text ''Docs-as-Code') and work with corresponding tools (e.g. Sphinx) Experience with Git and interest in Clean Code Knowledge of how to use agile methods (Kanban, Scrum) and tools (Jira, Confluence) Knowledge of test driven development and experience with CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of Fujitsu Siemens openUTM and/or Visual COBOL products is desirable A strong customer orientation as well as high communication and team skills complete your profile
