Our heart beats for engines. In the international engine competence center of the MAN Truck & Bus SE, we work with the fact that our engines run as efficiently and as long as possible. MAN Engines offers a wide range of efficient diesel and gas engines with a range of 37 to 1.618kW (50 to 2.200 hp) between 4.6 and 29.6 litres and numerous components for a wide range of applications.

Technical management and further development of the technical editorial team for engines, battery systems and electrical drive components for external customers of MAN Engines and for MAN vehicles

Planning and taxes of all documentation projects (motors and drive systems)

Responsibility for the creation and maintenance/quality assurance of technical documentation (operating, maintenance, repair instructions, etc.)

Optimization and further development of editorial tools and standards (reaction system CCMS, online portals, apps)

Close cooperation with R&D, service and marketing, quality management, customers

Support for editorial topics in various bodies

Control of external service providers

completed studies in the field of technology communication, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification

multiannual experience in the technical editorial, ideally with leadership experience

sound knowledge of standards, guidelines and standards (e.g. DIN EN 82079, Machine Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, VO858, etc.)

safe handling of xml-based editorial systems, terminology and translation management tools, archive systems and CCMS automated workflows

very good and pronounced organizational and communicative skills

very good German and English skills
