Heat and energy are our contribution to the quality of life – every day new. As BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we supply the capital with electricity and heat in a climate-friendly manner. Our district heating network is the largest Western Europe with a length of more than 2,000 kilometres. We supply about one third of the Berlin households with heat. With the know-how of our 2,200 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from production to grid operation and expansion to distribution. At high pressure, we work at the coal exit until 2030 and at climate-neutral production from 2045. In this way, we support the Land of Berlin significantly when reaching its climate targets. On the way to this we want to realize a higher proportion of renewable energies and waste heat. To do this, we need to redesign many of our sites and facilities. For the BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we are looking for you as a specialist engineer:in Sensorik at the Berlin site in a fixed-term position up to 30.06.2027. Your tasks: Planning & evaluation of leakage systems for the new construction of plastic casing pipes in the district heating network Strategic risk assessment of measurement results Development and specification of renovation projects after strategic evaluation of network conditions Examination and maintenance of the documentation of completed construction projects (quality assurance) Planning, commissioning and coordination of new installations for measuring technology for continuous monitoring of leak monitoring Assessment and prioritization of error messages, preparations for further processing Planning and coordination of repair measures of measurement technology Monitor the contractual execution. Cost, timing and quality control as well as initial corrective measures in the event of malfunctions Supporting colleagues by providing information on leakage systems (Brandes, HDW, Nordic) Working preparation and technical:r Contact person:in for the operational measuring technicians Contact person:in or coordination of the executive partner companies System Care (especially SAP and CRM Tool: VMW)

Your profile: You have a completed university or Higher education in one of the disciplines, electrical engineering, process and supply engineering, industrial engineering, renewable energies or the like You have knowledge and first experience in energy management and maintenance, preferably in the area of district heating / distribution You have knowledge of the application of current MS Office products as well as ideally knowledge of SAP-PM and open source applications You have a very good communication and team skills You are characterized by an independent way of working and a high degree of self-initiative and enforcement You have a pronounced analytical and structured mindset You have fluent German skills in word and writing Ideally you have a valid class B driving permit You meet about 70 percent of the requirements?
