Our facility is located on the outskirts of Steinau on the road, directly on a quiet residential area and with direct access to consumer markets that are just steps away from our senior residence. The city – embedded in the Kinzig Valley between the Spessart in the south and the Vogelsberg in the north – counts around 11,000 inhabitants. Steinau is well known on the street thanks to the famous Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm brothers. The fairy tale counters spent their childhood in the city. In the historic city centre, the Brother-Grimm House is always worth a visit. Also countless hiking trails in the region invite you to experience the fairytale country of the Brothers Grimm. Other attractions include the puppet theatre “Die Holzköppe” and the Steinauer Schloss, the largest and best preserved castle complex of the early Renaissance period in Hessen.
