Business Partnering & Consulting As a central IT contact person, you will be responsible for Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax and Internal Audit. The development and further development of IT-KPIs, business-cases and cost-effectiveness calculations are part of your task as well as support for make-or-buy decisions and prioritization in the IT portfolio. Project & Demand Management The management and coordination of the IT client from finance-related departments is your responsibility. In close cooperation with project management, product owners and external service providers, you will ensure target achievement as well as budget and deadline transparency. Transformation and digitization projects – e.g. in the context of SAP FI/CO, treasury systems, reporting, BI‐ or governance tools – you support professionally and organizationally. Governance, Risk, Compliance & Reporting You support the further development of IT governance, demand and decision-making processes and act as an interface between IT, Finance and Internal Audit for audit- and revision-relevant topics. For Management- and Finance-Gremien, you prepare sound decision bases and establish standardized reporting for finance, risk and governance related IT topics. This ensures compliance, audit, risk and documentation requirements in IT projects.
A completed study of business informatics, business management, finance, controlling or a comparable qualification forms the technical basis, complemented by several years of professional experience at the interface between IT and finance, controlling or governance. A very good understanding of key financial and governance processes – such as budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, reporting as well as treasury or audit requirements – distinguishes your profile. The secure handling of ERP systems, ideally SAP FI/CO, as well as experience with reporting and BI tools are also part of it; Knowledge of the IT project, portfolio or demand management is advantageous.
