As a Flavour Analyst / RnD Analytics, you are part of our quality control and analytics laboratory team. You act as a direct interface to the Flavorists and support the R&E department when mixing and analyzing flavors. Your tasks vary according to internal and external requirements and include:

Analysis of raw materials, aromas and finished products, focusing on volatile flavourings Support for Flavour Matching / Reconstruction of Flavours by Sample Preparation, Profile Comparison and Help with the Result Interpretation for Flavorists Instrumental analysis using GC–MS and HPLC, including independent evaluation and documentation of the results Operation, routine checks and participation in the maintenance of laboratory equipment

Minimum qualifications Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory or chemical/technical assistant Ideally at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in the laboratory (preferably in the fields of aromas, food, beverages or chemistry) theoretical and practical knowledge of chromatography, in particular GC (preferably GC–MS) and/or HPLC Structured, independent operation, reliability and strong organisational capabilities Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel German and English knowledge of B2 level Preferred qualifications Experience with aromas, aroma chemicals or natural raw materials Understanding aroma compositions and aroma profiles Experience in close cooperation with R&E or aroma development teams
