During the training you are mainly in training and have block-by-block lessons at the vocational school in Mannheim:

Training contents

Ensure safety: You learn to supervise bathers safely, identify emergencies, perform first aid and revival measures, and use rescue and swimming techniques. Bathing and visitor care: The training provides knowledge in the right of bathing, contracting and liability as well as in communication, conflict management, customer and employee orientation. Ensure water quality: you work with water treatment, bath chemicals, hygiene, water parameters, pumps, line systems, heating, ventilation and energy-efficient plant operation. Understanding bath technology: The training content includes the safe handling of tools, machines and hazardous materials, simple electrical and maintenance work, water analysis and maintenance of bath facilities. Do business activities: you learn to digitally process professional tasks, create reports and business letters, secure data, apply spreadsheets, and support administrative and business tasks.

Practical phases

comprehensively get to know the bath operation: You are going through the different areas of our baths, and you will learn about the diverse tasks and fields of activity in daily bathing. Actively accompany bathing: During the current bathing operation, you will work, support the bathing supervision and help our guests feel safe and comfortable. Experience spa technology in practice: You gain insights into the technical facilities of a bath and learn how water treatment, water quality, hygiene and operating technology can be reliably ensured. Make offers and events: You will participate in the performance of swimming courses, events and other offers and provide competent, service-oriented and friendly service to our guests. Understanding organization and processes: The organizational and administrative processes you get to know during bathing and can understand how different areas of tasks interlock and allow smooth operation.

You have a good primary school degree and are interested in the topics human, movement and technology. You bring good swimming skills and physical fitness with you and enjoy working actively in baths. You work responsibly and carefully, and you can also act concentrated in situations where it comes to quick reactions. Joy of dealing with people is yours and you go open and friendly to our guests. You are motivated, ready to learn and interested in technical relationships. Good services in German, mathematics and natural sciences complete your profile.
