Our systems for the dissemination and monitoring of the program offers of the ARD and the BR are continuously expanded and adapted to the current state of the art. Therefore, you are not only a specialist in signal processing and distribution, but also expand your knowledge in the field of streaming, cloud and related technologies.

Administration of video, audio and data connections of Bayerischer Rundfunk (glass fiber networks, directional radio and connection of BR-Auslandsstudios) Identification of new requirements or Improvements and, where appropriate, Adapting infrastructure to new technical conditions Error analysis and coordination with third-level support Self-employed quality assurance through device and software tests Creating documentation, application guides and workflow descriptions Collaboration and exchange of expertise with stakeholders within their own department and beyond with other ARD radio stations If necessary, support in monitoring the services in the dissemination of shiftwork

Completed technical training in the field of IT, as communication electronics (w⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) or similar discipline Knowledge of the dissemination of audio/video/data (e.g. long-distance and IP network technology, video and audio coding) Process-oriented thinking and analytical, independent working Ideal experience in project management Interest in continuous learning of new technologies and their implementation Joy in working together in the team and an appreciation of other Very good German knowledge in word and writing are a prerequisite, English knowledge is advantageous
