The workshop "Halle3" in Metzingen is a free car workshop for vehicles of all generations. An essential part of our daily workshop business consists of maintenance, diagnosis and repair of modern everyday vehicles – from classic customer service and wear repairs to demanding troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.

At the same time, we specialize in classic vehicles and youngtimer with Oldtimerpiloten GmbH. This creates a workplace that connects modern vehicle technology with classic motor vehicle craft.

With us, you may work on the diagnosis of a modern vehicle, then carry out an inspection according to the manufacturer's specifications and work tomorrow with the troubleshooting or repairing of a classic.

Kfz-Mechaniker / Kfz-Mechatroniker (m/w/d)

Your tasks

• Maintenance, service and repair of modern everyday vehicles
• Implementation of inspections by manufacturer specifications
• diagnosis and troubleshooting of modern mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems
• Wear repairs and more demanding repair work
• Work on brakes, suspensions, motors, electrics and other vehicle systems
• Maintenance and repair of youngtimers and oldtimers
• troubleshooting and repair of classic vehicle technology
• Restoration and conversion of special vehicles
• Preparation of vehicles for HU, AU and acceptance tests
• Personally responsible implementation and documentation of your work

You bring that with

• Complete training as a motor vehicle mechatronic, motor vehicle mechanics or a comparable qualification
• Experience in handling modern vehicles and current motor vehicle technology
• Safe handling of diagnosis and systematic troubleshooting
• Technical understanding and craftsmanship
• Self-employed and structured work
• Teamability, reliability and sense of responsibility
• Class B driving licence

Oldtimer experience is expressly not a prerequisite.

If you've been working mainly on modern vehicles so far, you'll be right with us. You can get to know the work on classic vehicles and youngtimers and, if you want, develop in this area.

Two areas – a workshop

With Halle3 we operate a free car workshop in Metzingen, where our customers are welcome with their normal everyday vehicles as well as with youngtimers and classics.

We take over maintenance and inspections according to manufacturer specifications, repairs, diagnosis and troubleshooting as well as the repair of modern vehicles.

Oldtimerpiloten GmbH complements this classic workshop business with our special passion: vehicles with history and character.

This means you don't have to choose between modern vehicle technology and classic cars. We'll give you both.
