We are now looking for a Safety Walker (m/w/d) for railway logistics in full time. This activity is carried out at the sites of Dormagen, Leverkusen and Krefeld-Uerdingen. The place is terminated.

In this role, you will accompany operative employees in the manoeuvre and make an important contribution to the further development of work safety, safe behaviour and operational processes through structured observations. The function is observing, supporting and documenting. It is therefore not necessary to have a full level of railway expertise as in operational railway functions. However, a suitable basic qualification with regard to safety, technology, logistics or operational processes is expected.

Your main tasks:

Accompanying Lokrangierführers and, if necessary, other operative employees in the ranking company

Structured observation of activities, workflows, interfaces and behaviors in everyday business

Detection and detection of safe behaviour, uncertain behaviour, deviations, improvisations and operational difficulties

Observation of relevant framework conditions such as traffic routes, visibility, weathering, order, communication, resources and disturbances

Documentation of observations for further processing by Rail Logistics and HSEQ

Support in deriving insights to improve safety, processes and cooperation at operational interfaces

Continuous studies in the field of safety, occupational safety, HSE, engineering, logistics, transport/transporting, psychology with work reference or a comparable subject or training as a specialist for occupational safety

Senior Account Manager (m/w/d)

Computer knowledge (SAP, MS-Office)

driving licence class B desirable

Basic understanding for workflows under real conditions of use, e.g. at time pressure, weather, disturbances or at operational interfaces

Ideally experience in the documentation and evaluation of observations

First contact points with web logistics, maneuvering operation, work path or comparable operating forms are advantageous.
