Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung GmbH (MDM), based in Leipzig, supports economically and culturally promising film and media productions in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. Your tasks
· Together with us, they develop creative and effective PR concepts and implement them across all channels – whether print, online or social media.
· Press releases, Contributions for the TRAILER magazine, the Annual Report or other publications can be created safely and think about the digital reuse
· They write stylistic content for our website, newsletters and social media channels.
· They prepare greetings, interview guides and briefings linguistically and content-based.
· Press and other inquiries can be answered with care, expertise and a good sense of tonality.
· You create structured editorial plans and coordinate content and timing.
· The press mirror is created by you with a trained look for relevance and quality.
· They work closely with external service providers and agencies.
· They maintain existing media contacts, expand networks and are contact persons for journalists, jury members, ad customers and other partners.
· In the design and implementation of our events – from KONTAKT to the cinema program prizes in Central Germany – you actively contribute your organizational talent and your communication strength.
Your profile
· They have completed university studies in the field of journalism, media, communication or humanities (or a comparable qualification, e.g. journalism).
· They bring a variety of practical experience from PR or journalism – whether through volunteers, activities in agencies, corporate communications, editorial offices, (film) production or freelance work.
· They delight in classical and digital communication alike and enjoy trying out new, creative PR approaches and tools.
· The film and media landscape is familiar to you – ideally bring They have a sound knowledge of current topics, actors and developments.
· They think strategically, formulate pointedly and have a safe sense of good storytelling.
· They are characterized by linguistic sensitivity, a view for detail and passion for stylistic round, error-free texts.

· The safe handling of content management systems (preferably Typo3), image processing programs and simple cutting tools is of course for you.
