We are looking for experienced cloud operations engineers with sound background knowledge in Linux, Windows, network technology and cloud environment that our customer operations team wants to strengthen. In our team you support our business and enterprise customers in problem analysis and solution around our infrastructure. From the acceptance of fault messages to the limitation of the cause to the restoration of the operation, the entire processing chain is in your hands. Your customer orientation and your solution competence will benefit you. We work around the clock in three layers. You are ready to participate in the shift rotation and be planned accordingly. As part of our work touches safety-sensible areas, you will be prepared to go through an advanced security check procedure (SÜ2). Our customers communicate in German and English – you can handle both languages in a safe manner. At the same time Technical Advisors and Ops Engineers at the side of our enterprise customers in complex environments. Analysis of customer workloads, debugging of complex disorders, creating permanent solutions or workarounds. Automation of recurring problems/tasks using scripts and tools (KI). Exchange with developer and sales teams to increase quality and stability. Work on sensitive environments under security and compliance requirements. Monitoring the cloud infrastructure and proactive action in the event of a fault. Qualifications Multiannual experience in operating cloud infrastructures, Linux, networks, virtualization (Qemu / KVM), containers (Kubernetes), storage systems and web requests (APIs). Embossed “Customer-First” mentality and high solution competence. Enthusiasm for error analysis (logfiles, traces, metrics) and troubleshooting. Network debugging skills (LAN/WAN/VPN, DNS, DHCP). Knowledge of S3 and storage systems (File, Object, Block). Experience with common monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, OpsGenie, etc.). Knowledge of common development and deployment tools (e.g. Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git). Experience with ticket and documentation systems (Jira, Confluence, etc.). Knowledge of scripting and software development ideally also using AI tools. Standby to the extended safety review (SÜ2). Current knowledge of German and English. Benefit's hybrid working model.
