The Fundraising, Foundations & Sponsoring department plans, coordinates and conducts selected fundraising activities at KIT. Your responsibilities as Fundraiser (w/m/d) include: support for existing contacts (foundations, companies and private sponsors) the planning, organisation and implementation of the annual foundation day at KIT the identification of funding projects at KIT through corresponding discussions with the various faculties and areas (scientists, project leaders) the active participation in the development, development and implementation of the fundraising strategy of KIT Research activities, identification and address of new funding partners the stand-alone position of applications for support organisations in close cooperation with the specialist project managers within KIT Advising internal departments on fundraising at KIT the independent implementation of speech and initiation measures support for communication and marketing measures relating to fundraising care of your contacts in our CRM system

a university degree (Master / Diploma) in the mental, social or communication skills or a comparable qualification and can demonstrate at least 3 years of professional experience in fundraising. It is easy for you to approach people, you are strong in communication, own initiative and curiosity in dealing with people. Empathy, a structured way of working and very good oral and written expressive skills in German and English round off your profile. In addition, we require good knowledge in handling MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM applications. Professional experience in a high school or public administration is advantageous.
