System Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Creation and processing of system description, system requirements and a complex system architecture in the context of a project development - definition of system decomposition in subordinate system elements and definition of derived requirements for these system elements. Modeling the system elements and definition of the system concepts for the project. specification of the standards to be taken into account in the technical solution for the system elements. Implementation of customer requirements in terms of system safety, system security and usability in design, as well as the preparation of the necessary analyses with the support of appropriate specialist departments in the company. tuning the content for a system-wide verification and validation concept. Coordination in the product and project team on their own tasks, problems and obstacles in the handling of tasks.

Complete studies in (technical) computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, mechatronics or a comparable subject. Long-term professional experience in a similar position. Experience in the design of complex systems and in the application of system-safety standards, e.g. ISO 61508, MIL‐STD‐882. Knowledge of security-oriented hardware development and selection of suitable components. Funded knowledge and practice in the requirements engineering system, in particular with DOORS and/or MagicDraw. Ability to take a leading role in the team, make clear and structured decisions and work independently. Impressed communication skills, self-initiative, independent working and willingness to occasional missions, nationally and possibly internationally.
