Regulatory Affairs Specialist (m/f/d)

As Regulatory Affairs Specialist (m/w/d), you are involved in ensuring the food compliance of packaging and product-based machine parts, which are checked in the context of the product development process and later by regular collection of conformity declarations and migration investigations. You observe food law developments in the food industry and adapt to legal renewals on products and processes of the group of companies. Your tasks include the collection, content and food law examination as well as the management of conformity documents. Migration test reports are also tested for plausibility by you and, if necessary, assessed from a toxicological perspective. In cooperation with accredited laboratories and associations, You clarify national and international food law issues. You are in close contact with packaging suppliers and in professional exchange with research institutions and testing institutes. The processing of commercial, consumer and government requests as well as the evaluation of advertising materials and media campaigns complete your task profile.

You have a successfully completed study of food chemistry, ecotrophology, food technology or a comparable study programme. Ideally, you have already gained first professional experience with food law requirements of food contact materials or other areas of German and European food law. Knowledge of migration testing, chemical analysis and composition of packaging materials as well as initial experience in toxicological risk assessment are advantageous. Thanks to your communication strength in German and English, cooperation with international stakeholders is not a problem for you. In addition to team skills and willingness to use, you will be able to convince by your safe appearance and a self-responsible way of working. The place is limited to 18 months.
