Senior Graphic Designer for the Communication Group (m/f/d)

Design Management and Art Director: Controlling the Implementation and Development of Corporate Design / Brandings – Layouts, Image Language, Templates, Design Policies, Visual Standards Working with the Authority’s strategic design and communication projects Advising the administration and departments in all matters of corporate design Conception and Design of Digital Communication Media – Assets for Websites, Intranet, UI Elements, Digital Publications, Social Media Conception and creation of explanation graphics and complex information visualizations – data and process representations, infographics, illustrations Design of classical means of communication – advertisements, posters, brochures, flyers, presentations Project management and quality control – coordination with specialist departments Control and briefing of graphic agencies and other service providers as well as budget control/responsibility Use of modern digital design tools, including AI-based tools, to support creative processes

You have completed a university degree (Master/University Diploma) in the fields of communication design / visual communication, brand design / corporate design, design & leadership, digital media or a comparable discipline with at least the “good” note. You will also have at least five years of professional experience in the implementation of consistent brand appearances (especially in the areas of corporate design, design management and art management, digital design, information design, editorial design and typographic design) You are safe to use professional design tools and AI-based design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, AI tools etc.) You prepare complex technical content clearly, objectively and understandably visually You maintain a sovereign handling in communication with or Coordination of agencies and service providers You convince colleagues and externals on the basis of your appraisal handling and your clear approach to the matter You have the digital skills to understand and classify new developments in a digital environment You are open to work in projects or project structures and ideally have experiences in workshop and moderation techniques, agile working methods or even in project management You have very good knowledge of English You fulfil the requirements of § 7 para. 1 Federal Staff Act / § 3 para. 1.1 TvöD-V, in particular, possess the nationality of a Member State of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland and are prepared to enter into a democratic basic order.
