For an exciting project in the public finance sector, we are now looking for a software developer in Java (w/m/d) for an indefinite fixation at pico engineering. Hybrid work is of course possible with us. The project also includes occasional service trips to the customer's locations in Bavaria. Software development: You develop and implement software components based on UML models and secure the continuous traceability between technical concept and code. Collaboration: You work closely with specialist experts and technically implements complex technical and tax requirements in payment transactions. Payment & SEPA: You develop and maintain payment management and SEPA systems and ensure compliance with applicable SEPA policies. Architecture & Coaching: You support the development of key architectural components and support internal developers: both as a coach and Sparring partner. Quality & stability: You ensure a stable and performant operation – including performance optimization, transaction security and storage and resource management in dialogue and batch operation. Test & Documentation: You are the first unit, integration, performance and load tests to develop test concepts and ensure a comprehensible technical documentation. Analysis & Integration: You analyze and correct errors during piloting and implement interface and integration connections (including SOAP web services, file interfaces, CONSENS dialog system).

Your knowledge and personality are characterized by: Background: You have a successfully completed study, e.g. in (economic) computer science, a completed vocational training, e.g. in specialist informatics for application development or comparable qualification. Professional experience: You have collected at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in software development with current Java versions. Java-EE development: You bring well-founded multiannual experience in Java-EE development and enterprise applications to JBOSS EAP with Oracle databases Dev tools: You are safer with the Java development and tool stack (UML modelling, ideally MagicDraw, Eclipse, Maven, TestNG) as well as Git for version management. Financial sector: Ideally, you have gained experience in the development of stock and/or payment management systems as well as involved in contracting entities. Personality: You are characterized by your analytical thinking, high quality standards, service orientation and team skills. Communication: You communicate verbally and in writing safely in German (min. C1 level) and in English (min. B1 level).
