• Please text suggestions ANPASSEN or LÖNCHEN In times when the requirements for operating resources play an increasingly important role in terms of flexibility and cost awareness, the innovation and optimization team of the continuous improvement process (KVP) and ergonomics sector in the Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen plant is the internal partners for the implementation of operating resources that enable safe production processes and increase productivity. These include low cost automation (LCA), delivery technology and pre-assembly devices. The means of operation are designed according to Lean and Ergonomic points of view and taking into account dates, quality and cost-effectiveness in the directly connected Workshop built.

The aim of the KVP team is the operational implementation of ideas under the goal of continuous improvement of global production processes in the sense of simple, fast and creative. In international exchange with the other CS divisions in the global production network of Mercedes-Benz AG, Lean concepts are shared, consistently developed and common standards are defined. During your internship, you work with various internal partner areas such as specialist planning, serial planning, start-up factory, assembly and logistics within the scope of the task spectrum. These challenges include: Conception, optimization and digital protection of equipment incl. Economic consideration and variant evaluation

Advising internal customers with regard to the use of equipment with LCA approach

Accompanying new concepts and safeguarding the implementation in the connected KVP workshop

Cooperation with the CS team in operational daily business

The activity can begin from February 2027.

Study programme in the field of engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable study programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office
