The area of plant operation is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the 380 and 220 kilovolt network for substations and free lines in the area. Furthermore, on behalf of the project management, we take over the quality control for commissioned construction measures on the network. The primary objective is to ensure trouble-free and accident-free operation while at the same time high plant availability. They maintain, coordinate and monitor the maintenance and operation of the gas-insulated switching systems (GIS) of the high and high voltage network of TransnetBW GmbH. They develop operational instructions, guidelines and forms and ensure continuous improvement of processes and methods in plant operation. As a central contact person for GIS plants, you provide the operational units with your technical expertise and support in matters relating to maintenance. They help with major disturbances, perform disturbance and damage analyses, create fault reports and develop suggestions for the maintenance program. They work in internal bodies and projects, representing the interests of the plant operation of TransnetBW GmbH.

You have completed an engineering degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power electronics, energy technology or high-voltage technology. They ideally involve routine maintenance and operation of high-voltage and high-voltage systems or are motivated to gain this knowledge. They like to work in the team, have a high degree of social competence and are strong to assert. They have an independent way of working, a high sense of responsibility and have good English skills in word and writing. You have a class B driver's license and bring travel readiness.
