Number: MER0003KUP At the Mercedes-Benz Untertürkheim plant we build the hearts of our cars: high-quality and pioneering motors, gearboxes, axles and batteries for all Mercedes-Benz cars and vans. The logistics planning gearbox in the Hedelfingen plant rugged, slender and powerful logistics processes for all Mercedes-Benz car automatic gearboxes and implements them. This includes the processes of inbound logistics for the delivery of the plant, the intralogistics for the planning of the internal production processes and the outbound logistics, which plans the worldwide shipping of the transmissions. Our daily challenge is the design and implementation of processes for cross-departmental optimization and harmonisation of logistics flows. These tasks await you, among others: Cooperation in logistics planning in the exciting large series start of our new automatic transmission in the international production network Processing of small projects to optimize the logistics process Presentation and presentation of work results in the management environment Design of logistics areas and processes in future production in different countries Cooperation in the implementation of Lean Production projects according to the criteria of the Mercedes-Benz production system Development of the future work of inbound, intra- and outbound logistics in the Hedelfingen plant part in a separate project
