Expert Digital Engineering (m/f/d)

As an expert digital engineering in the area of Automation Cross Product, you are responsible for the development and maintenance of engineering concepts and the construction of plant-related standards and modules for all flat products sizes. You will report directly to the General Manager Automation Cross-Product at the Center of Competence Solutions Flat Products. Your duties include: Creation and consolidation of data models for the data-technical mapping of systems, plant parts and modules with the aim of a complete digital image of the “as delivered” status incl. Simulation Continuous development of the engineering platform taking into account current technologies such as AI etc. Cross-disciplinary exchange with regard to product data and their embedding in the module landscape Creation and coordination of technology studies and associated presentation material as well as publication of specialist contributions Close exchange with the interface disciplines at SXT, FR and IT and the SXP national companies

You have completed a technical study (electrotech, mechanical engineering, computer science) or comparable. We are also important: Multiannual professional experience in engineering platforms and data modeling as well as in the development and application of the COMOS platform C#, Java, Typescript Knowledge in the field of exchange formats and modeling in the xml environment, ideally with AML Knowledge of PLC development platform TIA Portal regarding PLC software creation Knowledge of international standards for data modelling in the field of plant engineering, in particular the IEC81346 series, IEC62424, IEC62714 series and IEC Common Data Dictionary Negotiating skills, willingness to deploy, team capacity and enforcement Willingness to travel worldwide and continuous training very good knowledge of English and German in word and writing
