Chief Restructuring Officer (m/w/d)

The company develops, manufactures and maintains complex plants and components for long-term investment projects in the energy sector. Based on a strong market position and high technical expertise, the Group is currently in a phase of the strategic repositioning of its European production network.

In the course of this transformation, we are looking for an experienced management personality as Chief Restructuring Officer (m/w/d) with a clear mandate for the operational realignment and assembly of two key locations in the German-speaking world.

Overall responsibility for the planning and implementation of a consistent restructuring and integration programme focusing on the combination of two production sites in the DACH region. Analysis of existing structures, costs, capacities and value flows as well as deriving a loadable target image for organization, footprint and processes. Development and implementation of a multi-site operating and management model, including adaptation of responsibilities, interfaces and reporting lines. Control of all relevant change and transformation measures in the production and operation environment, including efficiency enhancement programs, capacity adjustments and portfolio focus. Close cooperation with management, finance, HR, operations, engineering and supply chain to control economic, legal and personal aspects of restructuring stringently. Responsibility for transparent KPI and performance management, including monitoring of costs, productivity, quality and timeliness. Confidential and consistent cooperation with employee representatives and local leadership teams to clearly communicate and implement necessary changes.

Multiannual experience in a comparable leadership with a focus on restructuring, transformation or integration in an industrial environment, ideally in machine and plant engineering, energy or comparable investment goods industries. Detectable successes in the reorientation of production associations, consolidation of sites and implementation of comprehensive efficiency and cost programmes. Confidence with complex, capital-intensive manufacturing and project environments, ideally with engineer-to-order or project-driven business models. Outstanding financial control competence (P&L confession, cash, investment logic) as well as experience in dealing with shareholders and investors, also like to relate to private equity structures. Very sovereign, strong and at the same time communicative leaders who make clear decisions, consistently advances changes and integrates different stakeholders. Negotiating German and English knowledge, international experience in industrial group or participation structures.
