Number: MER0003MM7 We are the business analytics, intelligence & AI division at Mercedes-Benz Vans. On our mission, we use the ever-growing amount of data and enable more efficiency, more effectiveness and more success with intelligent methods. We are driving the digital transformation for van sales and customer service in close cooperation with our business partners. Our team consists of eight highly motivated and friendly colleagues who are looking forward to your support. We are smart and always work together for each other, with passion and harmoniously. These challenges include: Implementation of digitalization projects in the topics Big-Data, Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Working with the potential identification and implementation of data-driven process improvements, innovative ideas and use cases for new business models for the operation of the data analytics strategy, including the necessary technologies Participation in the development of solutions in the context of big data and application of innovative methods in the fields of machine learning, natural language processing and data analysis Interpretation of results and data analysis as well as graphical processing of information in PowerPoint, Tableau or PowerBI Takeover of the conception and implementation of software components in various topics, e.g. in the context of predictive maintenance models or to improve algorithm based process automation Application of methods for processing large amounts of data for use on our Analytics cluster (Azure) Support of project management in the transformation of strategic project objectives Cooperation in neighbouring teams and departments in the implementation of process improvements and prototypes

Degree course in the field of (economic) computer science, mathematics engineering or comparable studies, with compulsory practice Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Analytical thinking and independent work Teamability and problem-solving competence Pioneering spirit in handling new technologies Experience in the programming and application of Data Analytics Tools (e.g. Python, R) Experience in the application of statistical methods, machine learning and artificial intelligence Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
