In this position you take over the administration, care and further development of our backup and recovery systems. You ensure that all business-critical data is regularly, fully and audit-proof. In addition, monitor backup jobs, analyze errors and ensure fast and reliable recovery in case of need. You develop and document backup strategies, emergency concepts and restart plans for different scenarios. As part of the Business Continuity Management, you evaluate risks, identify vulnerabilities and develop measures to increase IT security. Close cooperation with other infrastructure teams completes your work – especially when it comes to the coordination of storage and security strategies.

You have completed training or studies in the IT field (e.g. specialist:in system integration, computer science, etc.). Professional experience in the administration of backup and recovery solutions ideally bring you already. Finded knowledge of current backup technologies is advantageous. You have a good understanding of IT security concepts, virtualization and storage architectures. A structured, conscientious way of working as well as a sense of responsibility for critical infrastructures are yours. Communication skills and team orientation complete your profile.
