More than 7,000 employees at 14 locations worldwide: This is the supply chain management division, which unites the logistics management of Mercedes-Benz Cars (MBC) completely under one roof. Our headquarters at the Mettingen site is part of the Untertürkheim site, which has now grown into the competence center for motors, transmissions, batteries, electric drives and axles in the Mercedes-Benz Cars business unit as the parent company.

As a center of central supply chain planning, we are responsible for the holistic planning of the E2E-Supply Chain from the supplier to the production site. Through the continuous development and implementation of existing and new standards, we make a significant contribution to achieving the cost and growth objectives of the Supply Chain Management Directorate. Within the supply chain planning, we are responsible for and designing the conceptual planning and implementation of the intralogistics processes and outbound processes in the technological and process transformation for all new Mercedes-Benz Electric Architecture Medium and Large models in the team Intralogistics Axles at the Esslingen-Mettingen site. Complex and massive changes in material flow processes are to be expected and planned for the integration or redesign of these electrical products. We are also responsible for the current series models such as the S-Class, E-Class and the EQS. This is what awaits you at our team during your internship!
