The Stiftung Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie (NRD) has been supporting people for 125 years. The “Children, Youth and Family” division of the Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie combines offers of integration aid and youth assistance under one roof. This allows us to provide individual and needs-oriented support for children, young people and their families.

Senior Caregiver (m/w/d) - Projektmanagement für Kinder und Jugend

New concept, new team, new opportunities – we start with fresh wind and offer the opportunity to co-design a residential project from the start and to open real prospects for young people. With the “Buntes Haus” residential group, a unique residential project for children and young people is being created in the residential community of Darmstadt. In a modern, barrier-free house with roof terrace, spacious common areas and lots of greenery, we create protected habitats that promote participation and personal development. A WG is planned for five children and adolescents, as well as an intensive educational area with four living places.

Support with empathy, tranquility and empathy During the evening/night hours (from about 21:00 am to 07:00 pm) our young residents will come to their new home At regular intervals, you will see whether everything is okay and provide the physical and emotional well-being of children and adolescents as needed Our night owls provide you with an open ear for an exchange and help them to find peace For the best possible fulfillment of the needs of children and young people, you work in close cooperation with our colleagues who support you in your work

You have a training for educators, youth/home educatorsin, social pedagogue, educators or nursesin or a study of social work, social education (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification successfully completed Ideally, first experience in youth or integration aid and with challenging behaviour of children and young people Interest in working with children and adolescents with special life topics and / or impairments You act solution-oriented, creative and can inspire others You enter the team constructively and act cooperatively and coordinatedly
