We are responsible for the development of low-voltage and high-voltage vehicle line sets as well as the 12V electrical components. We also coordinate the software update management system (SUMS) and functional security for VAN.

Current projects are VAN.EA (VAN Electric Architecture) and ongoing longlife projects with the aim of supporting the electromobility in the VAN through efficient on-board network development while maintaining the ability to integrate alternative drive forms. The team consists of 10 highly motivated and friendly employees who are looking forward to your support

The main project is VAN.EA-P with its staggered approaches worldwide with the aim of developing a luxury large-scale limousine.

We work with State of the Art technologies and with international project partners in India, Spain, Morocco and China

There are many challenges for you due to the complexity of the variants as well as diverse themes such as supplier control, documentation, buildability, as well as costs, eHPV (engineered hours per vehicle) and quality aspects.

These challenges include: Component responsibility LV line set

Specification, processing of changes, testing and release

Plan development and change management

Processing of the functions and the technical line-set overall concept of the VAN.EA, VAN.CA (Van Combustion Architecture) and VS20 (mounting system rear axle transmission) as well as taking responsibility for the entire development process

Control of your own task by means of transparent processes and associated KPIs (Key Performance Indicator), use of innovative methods from RD (Research & Development) and in addition to controlling changes and the development of both the main management set and the non-JIS sizes

Further development of development methods through skillful use of tools already used by car development and suitable solutions to suppliers

Managing the development activities of the partner area at MBRDI (Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited) through regular meetings and results reviews

Ideally qualify for this job: Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable

Multiannual development experience

Funded knowledge of development processes around the line set

Detailed knowledge of vehicle development and documentation processes

Readiness to travel worldwide in the upcoming starting stages (Spain, Morocco, China)

Personal competencies: Communication and presentation skills

Negotiating skills and enforcement

Resilience and problem solving skills
