Designer for our new Competence Center for Design (m/f/d)

We plan to bring the existing site-bound design teams together to form a virtual, nationwide distributed central construction unit. In order to successfully shape this new chapter, we are looking for experienced designers (m/w/d) who want to take responsibility in a forward-looking remote organization and develop technically sophisticated solutions.

Location-independent · 100 % Remote within Germany · Unlimited Position:

Development and construction (approximately 60% electrical construction and 40% mechanics) of systems and components in the field of fire protection Creation and maintenance of 2D and 3D models, drawings and piece lists Performance of design reviews, coordination with project management, construction management, purchasing and quality Technical clarification of requirements, standards and customer-specific specifications Identification and implementation of standardization and optimization measures Close cooperation with multi-site project teams Working on the further development of design guidelines and standards

Complete studies or technician training in mechanical engineering, in mechatronics, electrical engineering or a comparable field Multiannual professional experience in (electro) construction Experience in project-oriented cooperation – ideally in a planning or architect's office for technical building equipment Secure handling of at least one common CAD system (e.g. SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Inventor, EPLAN) Good knowledge of standards, manufacturing technologies and industrial construction processes Independent, structured and quality-conscious working Communication strength and joy in multi-site team work
