The Stiftung Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie (NRD) has been supporting people for 125 years. The “Children, Youth and Family” division of the Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie combines offers of integration aid and youth assistance under one roof. This allows us to provide individual and needs-oriented support for children, young people and their families.

(m/w/d)-unique residential project for children and young people New concept, new team, new opportunities - we start with fresh wind and offer the opportunity to co-design a residential project from the start and to open real prospects for young people. With the “Buntes Haus” residential group, a unique residential project for children and young people is being created in the residential community of Darmstadt. SGB VIII § 35a. In a modern, barrier-free house with roof terrace, spacious common areas and lots of greenery, we create protected habitats that promote participation and personal development. A WG is planned for five children and adolescents, as well as an intensive educational area with four living places.

How your day looks in the living area • Caring with patience, empathy and humour, providing and supporting children and young people with different impairments in everyday life, accompanying their development to independent personalities and thus promoting the way into a self-determined life • As part of the reference service, you take responsibility for individual children and young people as well as their relatives • They plan individual and group educational offers for and with children and young people • When you use support communication tools and special educational requirements, you will be intensively supported and advised by specialized colleagues. • Through active design and professional exchange in the team, you contribute to a continuous development of pedagogical work • In cooperation with the Youth Office and caregivers/premiers, you develop ideas and opportunities for returning to the family or for a sustainable perspective in the group of residences as well as a possible self-employment at a later date.
