Department 4 - Financial management : Department of Higher Education Main Accounting We are looking for a full-time (39.83 hours/week = 100 %) at the next possible time Key Accounting (m/w/d). The Ruhr-Universität Bochum is one of the largest universities in Germany with around 42,000 students, 6,000 employees and a household volume of about € 750 million. In the department 4 – Financial Management – the financial-related business processes and business relationships of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum are processed in the departments of Higher Education, Finance and Accounting, Sales and Earnings Taxes, Central Procurement and Third-Party Administration and Customs with 110 employees. The main accounting field in the Department of Higher Education is mainly concerned with the preparation of the annual financial statements, the monthly and quarterly reports and the tax balances of the operation of a commercial nature and is involved in the preparation of the economic plans of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum.

Successfully completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Administration or Similar OR Successfully completed commercial training with a successfully completed training to/from the account holder*in Multiannual professional experience in financial and accounting, tax consultancy or audit Experience in the leadership of employees is desirable Very good knowledge of HGB; Experience in tax matters is of advantage Very good user knowledge for standard software products (e.g. MACH, SAP or DATEV) related to accounting Very good handling of MS Office products, especially Excel Teamability, communication skills, motivation, initiative, service orientation and the willingness to work into new topics Good English knowledge of word and writing
