With a network of around 1,500 suppliers globally, we ensure that our works are always supplied with the best materials. When quality problems arise with our international suppliers, we are responsible for the sustainable improvement of the problem in cooperation with the supplier. At the same time, we question potentially new suppliers before their nomination by the specialist purchase and thus contribute to the preventive safeguarding of the quality of future Mercedes-Benz vehicles. We therefore come into contact with the future Mercedes-Benz vehicles in a very early stage. We agree interdisciplinary with the development of components in the Mercedes-Benz Technology Center (MTC) in Sindelfingen. Before a new Mercedes comes to the market, we have examined in advance the construction of productions at our suppliers for process reliability and feasible capacity. Your exciting tasks as a working student*in: As an integral part of our team, you take responsible tasks that give you a real insight into the job of a quality engineer: Support in preparing and posting maturity dates with global suppliers Support in preparing and conducting audits according to VDA 6.3 Tracking and change management of new parts Participation in internal quality committee meetings Participation in digital solutions and AI-based approaches to process optimization and quality forecasting in Supplier Quality Engineering Creating meaningful analyses and dashboards with Power BI on quality topics on the market and supplier performance The activity can begin from August 2026.
