Construction, initiation and moderation of an internal and external network of experts:inside to material compliance in the supply chain
Identification and assessment of legal requirements (e.g. RoHS, REACH, TSCA, CP 65, PFAS, Conflict Minerals ...) and relevant customer requirements for ZEISS products worldwide
Coordination with authorities and external networks to track new regulatory developments and address internal needs
deriving and implementing projects and supplier queries in close cooperation with the ZEISS units – taking into account the effort, benefits and risks
Development of practical, risk-based solutions to ensure legal compliance even in complex issues
Consulting and support of development, purchasing and quality functions as well as suppliers on material compliance requirements
Coordination of information management and reporting on material compliance issues within ZEISS and along the supply chain
In this role, you are responsible for the construction and control of an internal and external network of specialist experts: both on material compliance and ensure compliance with global legal and customer-specific requirements. You identify relevant regulations (e.g. RoHS, REACH, PFAS, Conflict Minerals) and derive projects, supplier queries and practical, risk-based solutions. You work closely with development, purchasing and quality areas, represent ZEISS in external bodies and coordinate information management and reporting on material compliance issues in the supply chain.
