The Functional Software Drive Systems department is responsible for the development of innovative drive software and safety concepts for all drive control devices. For our Team Functional Safety Powertrain and Surveillance Concept Transmission we are looking for reinforcement. As part of our team, you can support the Functional Safety Engineers in both testing and testing. In an international and interdisciplinary expert group, you will have the opportunity to get to know the software development and testing of electric and hybrid drives at Mercedes-Benz. These challenges include: Conducting test planning, test implementation, test evaluation and test reporting

Preparation of measurements

Support for vehicle tests

Evaluation, documentation and discussion of measurement results

Automation of evaluation of measurement results

Data mining of large measurement databases

The activity can begin flexibly from January 2026.

Degree course Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable degree course (Bachelor/Master) Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working You like to work independently and have a strong problem-solving competence Ideally, you have previous knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, Canape & Confluence Experience in ISO-26262 Security Management is advantageous Experience with quality standards (e.g. Automotive SPICE) is advantageous You delight in electric drives or hybrid drives
