One of our most exciting topics begins precisely here: In the current quality assurance, small precision components are still manually tested - measure measurements, assess surfaces, detect deviations. This works, however, is time-intensive and strongly dependent on the care of the person in question. With increasing numbers, this process is increasingly reaching its limits. Subjective assessments and different procedures also make a reproducible and precise assessment more difficult. Modern image processing systems combined with AI-based analysis methods offer enormous potential here. While classic image processing works rather rigidly controlled, AI-based approaches can reliably identify complex or difficultly recognizable fault images and remain significantly more robust than component and process variations. The result: an objective, scalable and significantly more efficient quality check - and we want to work with you exactly. Objective of the project: Systematic analysis, evaluation and preparation of the introduction of an automated visual quality control system for testing precision components. We create optimal framework conditions for your incorporation. You get enough time to work on optical testing and AI-based analysis. The title and the specific task are individually agreed with you.
